It is said 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equal to 4 hours of deep sleep! Laying super cozy in a cloud of props, you will be guided on a journey through the mind and body. This systematic form of relaxation is blissfully rejuvenating. All are welcome, no experience necessary! Learn More: Sleep that awakens the soul. Laying super cozy in a cloud of props, you will be guided on a journey through the mind and body. This systematic form of relaxation is blissfully rejuvenating, and there is no previous experience needed, anybody can do it. Yoga Nidra resets the nervous system. This is a very gentle way to bring your body back into a state of rest and relaxation (your parasympathetic nervous system) and bring you out of the fight or flight response (sympathetic nervous system), creating more peace and well-being in your body, mind and heart. Modern science now confirms what yogis discovered thousands of years ago; there is a direct link between increased alpha brain waves and the nervous system, initiating more balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems ... reducing stress hormones, blood pressure and heart rate, promoting over all health & balance in your daily life. Yoga Nidra may clear creative blocks, increase motivation and stimulate clear thinking. Over time this technique may clear emotional trauma's (its often used with PTSD cases), help to reduce chronic pain, and can release bad habits. It will produce a better night’s sleep...some say the best sleep they have ever had! Yoga Nidra is an easy and effective way to experience one of the deepest forms of meditation available, and all you have to do is lay there! REFRESH, REJUVINATE, RELEASE and RENEW
